Real Foods - Coconut flour 1000g
Coconut flour is made from coconut pulp produced during the production of coconut milk. The pulp thus formed is skimmed and stripped of liquids and then dried. After the flesh is properly prepared, it is ground. Such flour retains a coconut aroma, looks like wheat flour with a sweet taste.
The product has a wide range of applications in the kitchen. You can use it as you would standard flours, but keep in mind that the virtually absence of gluten (only trace amounts) has a specific effect on baked goods. In addition, the product is more absorbent. Coconut flour is also suitable for eating raw. It can be successfully added to breakfast cereals or fruit smoothies and used to thicken sauces and soups.
